Monthly Tuition

A one-month tuition deposit is required when your child is awarded placement. We are able to accept either cheques or e-transfers. Payments are due on or before the first of each month.

Please inquire for annual or bi-annual payments.

As a licensed daycare, qualifying families may receive a government subsidy. For more information please visit Alberta Services

Registration Fee

There is a C$150 non-refundable registration fee that contributes towards securing your childs spot as well as providing the necessary tools and administrative setup for your HiMama account to monitor your childs daily development. This also includes advanced health procedures and equipment due to the lasting outcomes of COVID-19.

Class Sizes

• Toddlers: we accomodate up to 6 children [20mon - 3 yrs]
• Preschool: we accomodate up to 16 children [3 - 6 yrs]
• Before and After School: we accomodate up to 20 children [6 - 12yrs]

What types of activities will my child experience?

Daily learning routines may include...

• Practical Life (buttoning, grip, pouring, sewing, folding)
• Sensorial (smell, touch)
• Language (free form letters, sandpaper letters, tracing)
• Mathematics (tactical counting beads, cubes, and sticks)
• Cultural and Science Studies
• Art Appreciation (painting, poetry)
• Gym (rhythm, dance, movement)
• Science & Nature (tactical exploration)
• Music (singing and sounds)
• Physical education activities (indoor gym and outdoor play)
• Nature walks and exploration

Transportation

We do not provide transportation for children at this time.

Can parents attend classes with their children?

To help with independence we ask that parents do not attend with their children. If the child is particularly distressed the parent may sit with them.

If my child is sick, the school is closed or we go on vacation will I be able to get a refund?

Unfortunately not. We staff our programs based on the number of children registered and are unable to accomodate or change the hours we are giving our teachers based on individual families.

General Guidelines

All Students are picked up on time

Although we understand the occasional unforeseen circumstance that may delay your arrival, frequent late pick-ups will result in late fees (of $1.00/minute per child) being assessed. We allow for up to a fifteen-minute late pick-up on a rare basis; however, please do not expect that this courtesy will be extended if you are frequently late.

Food

We are a nut-free school. Please be sure to check ingredients carefully.

Clothing

Please ensure your child has a full set of spare clothes in his/her cubby, as accidents and spills can happen to anyone!
